I'm surprised no one has reviewed this game! It's SOOOO FUN! This is Valve's "Longbow" but with more stuff! I love the night and day animations in the sky (3d moon rise). The added abilities and new functions on the map as you progress through the game make it continuous fun! The only thing that bugs me is the bow mechanics. It's not "BAD" but I feel like Valve's "Longbow" game feels better and more accurate. When I shoot with the bow in this game, it seems almost like it compensates for distance and shoots differently for closer shots. Where as "Longbow" shoots the same no matter what the distance at full draw, and it forces the user to compensate more or less based on distance. The campaign consists of a series of weeks, and inside each week is a series of days.The gameplay itself is virtually identical to the archery game in The Lab, which is free. Now granted the graphics are more polished and the environments are more rich in this game. And there are even some interesting archery upgrades and changes to the environment as you play. But the core gameplay felt the same to me.Another similar game is Princess Kidnapper 2 which is just $1 and also features archery upgrades and rich environments.I admit I found the gameplay very challenging. I wasn't able to make it past the first week since the final day of the first week had so many enemies that I wasn't able to kill them in time. So the challenge is definitely there.But for the regular price of $15 I find it a tough sell, given how similar it is to The Lab and Princess Kidnapper 2.I know they're planning multiplayer and co-op play in the future. And if that's implemented that would be a strong element to make this game stand out. But for now I find it too expensive.. Highly recommended!This game is quite addictive, couldn't get enough.My friend and I were browsing for a new game, when we saw the trailer we were laughing so much we couldn't not try it.Funny, very intuitive gameplay, bows feel very nice.We liked the interactive traps and barriers, it adds so much to the player's strategic.Even when you die, the skeleton throw a party, it's kinda fun to die.I guess a little bit of sound balance will do great to this XP.Looking forward to the multiplayer update!Thumbs up!. Then it's over. Not worth $15.. If you liked the bow and arrow game in the lab, then you will love this. Don't fall for thinking it is just a beutiful graphical upgrade, it also offers up some new gameplay ideas that make it worth a look. For example, archers are characters who do not need to go near the castle door to inflict damage. They walk to a spot, draw their bow, and shoot arrows at the door for damage. This helps make a simple game concept evolve into something requiring some thinking, besides just shooting arrows. The game is very new at this point and shows a lot of potential. The bones of a game, so to speak, are all here. Excellent graphics, excellent concept, etc.... but that's not to say there still isn't work to do. The game difficulty seems to ramp up too fast and there are some grammatical errors in menus. While the text is easily understood, it could still be fixed (yes, bad grammer bothers me.. I know many people it won't.) I haven't had a lot of time to spend in this game due to work restrictions at the moment, but the time I did spend in it was fun and enjoyable. While I think you can easily get a few hours of enjoyment out of this game.. for $15 it will still be considered a bit pricey by many. But if you find it on sale for $10 and you enjoyed the lab's bow and arrow game, then it is a very worthwhile addition to your vr library.
